Conners Clinic Apop-E 300 - Powerful Vitamin E - 30 Count $44.99
Conners Originals Apop-E 300 is a unique tocopherol-free, tocotrienols-only product, featuring tocotrienols sourced from the annatto tree. Annatto is the richest known source of tocotrienols, containing 100% tocotrienols (90% delta and 10% gamma isomers), with no tocopherols.Commercial vitamin E supplements are typically rich in tocopherols and low or absent in tocotrienols; however, tocotrienol fractions have unique beneficial effects across a variety of tissues that make them desirable for supporting many aspects of health. Research indicates that tocopherols—especially alpha-tocopherol—may interfere with key therapeutic effects of tocotrienols, so it may be best to dose tocotrienols alone, without tocopherols. Vitamin E is not a single nutrient, but rather a complex consisting of 4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols. Each of these components has a different molecular weight and slightly different chemical structure, which impart distinct properties that influence their biochemical functions. Apop-E 300 features DeltaGold®, a patented annatto tocotrienol formula produced in the US by American River Manufacturing.  Ingredients:  Vitamin E Isomers Made with non-GMO ingredients.   NOTE: All of the above statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Berber Clear - 60 Caps Conners Clinic Supplement - Conners Clinic Berber Clear - 60 Caps Conners Clinic Supplement - Conners Clinic
Conners Clinic Berber Clear - 60 Caps $50.49
Conners Clinic Berber Clear supplies berberine combined with alpha lipoic acid to help support optimal blood sugar and insulin metabolism, cardiovascular health, and liver health. Berberine is an alkaloid compound found in the roots, rhizomes, stems, and bark of several plants commonly used in botanical and Chinese medicine, such as goldenseal, Oregon grape, barberry, and Berberis aristata. Lipoic acid is best known for its antioxidant properties and its ability to support healthy insulin metabolism and sensitivity. It is also a key cofactor for mitochondrial enzymes involved in cellular metabolism and energy (ATP) production. Ingredients: Berberine hydrochloride (from Berberis aristata) (root) Alpha Lipoic Acid Berberine Berberine is a compound found in the roots, rhizomes, stems and bark of several plants commonly used in botanical and Chinese medicine, such as goldenseal, Oregon grape, barberry, and Berberis aristata (from which its name is derived). It has become increasingly popular as people seek natural compounds that may aid in maintaining healthy blood glucose and insulin levels, without some of the adverse side-effects of pharmaceutical medications commonly used for this purpose. Berberine helps promote healthy blood glucose levels and sensitivity to insulin through multiple mechanisms.* One way berberine may aid in healthy glucose regulation is by limiting the activity of enzymes that digest carbohydrates in the small intestine, thus resulting in less glucose being absorbed into the bloodstream after meals. Alpha Lipoic Acid Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is best known as an antioxidant. ALA is both water- and fat-soluble, meaning it exerts its antioxidant effects in different types of tissues and different compartments in the body. In addition to its antioxidant effects, ALA supports healthy insulin secretion and sensitivity, in part by facilitating the way cells take up glucose from the blood. ALA is also a key cofactor for enzymes inside the cells’ mitochondria, which is where fats, carbohydrates, and proteins are converted into energy. Thus, ALA helps support a healthy metabolism. Does Not Contain: Gluten, animal or dairy products, ingredients derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Warning:  If you are on insulin treatment or taking hypoglycemic medications, consult with your healthcare practitioner before using this product.   * NOTE: All of the above statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Hista Clear - DAO Enzyme Conners Clinic Supplement - Conners Clinic Hista Clear - DAO Enzyme Conners Clinic Supplement - Conners Clinic
Conners Clinic Hista Clear - DAO Enzyme $64.00 $84.00
Conners Clinic Originals Hista Clear is a patented enzyme formula containing diamine oxidase (DAO) - the main enzyme responsible for the degradation of ingested histamine.  This enzyme has been clinically tested and found to break down food-derived histamine in the digestive tract.   Our bodies are complex, and there is usually more at play than we think. What most don’t take into consideration when addressing histamine-related health issues is genetics. Whether you’re on a low histamine diet due to histamine intolerance, or simply trying to reduce high histamine foods for general health, you will benefit from understanding how your genes are related. Learn more about histamine and genetics here! Our body has two distinct methods of clearing things that could bring it harm: our immune system kills living toxins (bacteria, virus, parasites…) and our detoxification pathways clear non-living toxins (chemicals, heavy metals, drugs…). We have one other system that sits somewhere in the middle between the immune and the detoxification systems that helps with both: the mast cells. Read more about Histamine’s Double-edge Sword in the Formation and Progression of Cancer.   Ingredients: Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) Diamine Oxidase (DAO) Does Not Contain: Wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, dairy products, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, or artificial preservatives. Potential Benefits: addresses excess exogenous histamine found in the folds, villi, and microvilli of the small intestine Discussion: Histamine is a bioactive or “vasoactive” amine produced in the body in response to an injury or foreign substance. It has an array of physiological effects, including increasing blood supply to specific sites in the body. In addition, histamine is involved in the immune response, regulation of gastric acid, permeability of blood vessels, contraction of muscles, and the normal response to inflammation.[1] The highest concentrations of histamine in the body are found in the gastrointestinal tract, lungs, and skin, with lesser amounts in the brain and heart.* Histamine is not only produced in the body but is also present in many fermented foods, such as sauerkraut, sausage, cheese, yogurt, and alcoholic beverages. Tuna, olives, spinach, eggplant, avocados, tomatoes, cherries, and citrus fruits are other histamine-containing foods. Despite their absence of histamine, some foods, such as berries, tea, and a variety of spices, stimulate the endogenous production of the amine due to their benzoate content. In addition, microbial fermentation can convert the histidine in high-protein foods to histamine so that the histamine content of food can increase over time.*[1] Endogenous and exogenous histamine must be broken down in order to maintain homeostasis and histamine balance. The enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO) degrades histamine by converting it from 2-(4-imidazolyl)- ethylamine to the inactive metabolite imidazole acetaldehyde.[2] The active ingredient in HistaClear is porcine-derived diamine oxidase, and research suggests that DAO derived from porcine kidney appears to have identical action to DAO derived from porcine intestine.[3] In humans and other mammals, DAO is found in high concentrations in the gastrointestinal mucosa. Animal studies suggest that circulating DAO may be a marker for mucosal integrity and maturity.[4] Certain drugs may affect histamine balance in the body by promoting histamine release or inhibiting DAO.*[2] Histamine tolerance may not be the same for everyone. Results of a double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study suggest that tolerance to histamine can vary from individual to individual.[5] Total body histamine load must be considered when evaluating histamine tolerance, and a balance between histamine and DAO appears to be crucial to maintaining skin, rhinoconjunctival, and gastrointestinal health.[2,6] Genetic and environmental factors may interact to influence DAO expression. Ongoing research addresses the role that genetic variations may play in individual differences in DAO metabolism, and serum activity was significantly associated with seven single nucleotide variations within the DAO gene.[7,8] Histamine tolerance may be reflected in detailed questionnaires, food intake logs, trial with low-histamine diet, and measurement of DAO and histamine.*[9,10] Histamine tolerance and its manifestation may vary from organ to organ as well. A study of 39 patients suggested that intake of DAO produced a statistically significant reduction in symptoms associated with exogenous histamine ingestion, although single symptoms were not found to be reproducible.*[11] Ultimately, diminished serum DAO levels appear to be associated with changes in histamine degradation and serum histamine levels.[10] Although the mechanism of histamine degradation is uniform throughout the body, HistaClear only addresses excess exogenous histamine found in the folds, villi, and microvilli of the small intestine. HistaClear is not absorbed and therefore does not have systemic activity. A two-capsule dose of HistaClear contains 20 mg of vitamin C and 20,000 HDU (histamine degrading units) from diamine oxidase. HistaClear is NOT EFFECTIVE for symptoms of immune- related food allergies, such as peanuts, shellfish, etc.* Read our article: Low Histamine Diet: The High Histamine Foods List Genetic supplementation is complex and requires a deep understanding of the entire genetic picture.  Our Genetics Membership includes the kit, a full workup, review, report, summary, Dr. Conners’ personalized recommendations - and MORE.  Click HERE for details. Conners Clinic Clear Hist Jr - Chewable Natural Anti-Histamine for Kids - 60 Count $21.20
Conners Clinic Originals Clear Hist Jr. is a great-tasting, chewable tablet that includes a targeted blend of flavonoids, antioxidants, proteolytic enzymes and botanicals designed to provide comprehensive support for children with seasonal challenges caused by common environmental allergens. Clear Hist Jr. includes quercetin, a powerful flavonoid to support healthy histamine levels. It supplies bromelain to enhance the absorption of quercetin and to support mucosal tissue health and stinging nettles leaf to balance hyper-immune response. N-acetyl cysteine clears the airways by promoting normal viscosity of mucus. This unique nutritional combination safely promotes healthy nasal and sinus passages for children with elevated histamine and respiratory irritation. Ingredients Vitamin C Quercetin Dihydrate Stinging Nettle Bromelain N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine Does Not Contain: Gluten, yeast, artificial colors or flavors. Potential Benefits supports immune balance in hypersensitive individuals supports sinus and respiratory health promotes normal viscosity of mucus clears nasal passages Discussion Quercetin is a biologically active flavonoid antioxidant that is widely distributed in plants, oak trees, onions and tea leaves. Quercetin has strong antioxidant activity and has also been shown to support immune health by mediating the release of inflammatory compounds, including leukotrienes and prostaglandins. Quercetin is known for its ability to stabilize mast cells, which diminishes the release of histamine, the compound known to cause hypersensitivity reactions during seasonal changes. Stinging Nettles Leaf - Urtica dioica, commonly known as stinging nettles, is a plant that has been shown to balance immune response, specifically in the airways and nasal passages. Studies have shown that the extract of stinging nettles leaf balances several of inflammatory activities that affect respiratory health. In addition to controlling mast-cell degranulation, stinging nettles leaf controls prostaglandin formation and histamine action, thus contributing to a balanced inflammatory response. Bromelain is a plant enzyme naturally found on the stem and fruit of the pineapple plant. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme that aids in in the breakdown of large protein complexes, including antigenic compounds. Bromelain has been shown to enhance the absorption of quercetin and to reduce circulating allergenic protein complexes associated with hyper-immune sensitivity and seasonal discomfort. N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is an amino acid precursor to one of the most important antioxidants in the body: glutathione. Both glutathione and NAC help reduce the viscosity of the mucus allowing for clearing of the airways and improved respiratory health. Vitamin C - Because vitamin C cannot be synthesized by the human body, it is an essential nutrient that must be consumed in the diet. Among its numerous health-promoting properties, vitamin C supports the immune system and is also a potent antioxidant. When the body is under a significant amount of stress, vitamin C is excreted rapidly. Vitamin C has many immune boosting properties, but is distinctively beneficial for individuals with seasonal discomfort because of its ability to deactivate histamine. Conners Clinic Phase 0 - Chela Clear - 120 Caps $40.00
Phase 0 - Chela Clear by Conners Clinic Originals is designed to help the body rid itself of damaging oxidative elements.  It features specialized ingredients, such as EDTA, Himilayan shilajit extract (50% fulvic acid), chlorella, coriander, and antioxidant-stimulating nutrients.  These ingredients perform in concert to support your health when your body is challenged by environmental toxins, such as heavy metals. Ingredients Himalayan Shilajit extract Calcium Disodium EDTA Chlorella Coriander 4:1 N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine Alpha-Lipoic Acid Allicin (from garlic extract) Does Not Contain Wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, animal or dairy products, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, ingredients derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs), artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, or artificial preservatives. Potential Benefits chelates chemicals/toxins out of tissues supports healthy liver function rids the body of damaging oxidative elements powerful antioxidant reduces cellular exposure to, or accumulation of, lead, cadmium, and mercury enhances cell survival after exposure to heavy metals or toxins Free Download - The 7 Phases of Detox Discussion Himalayan Shilajit Extract (Asphaltum punjabinum) is a purified form of shilajit also known as salajit, shilajatu, mimie, or mummiyo. This naturally occurring phytocomplex is found in high mountain rocks, especially those of the Himalayas and Hindu Kush ranges of the Indian subcontinent. Modern research suggests that shilajit has powerful antioxidant activity. As an example, in an animal model, processed shilajit increased superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione peroxidase (GPx) activities in a dose- dependent manner. Furthermore, humic substances, as found in shilajit, have been shown to affect the distribution, metabolism, and absorption of heavy metals, such as cadmium and lead. EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is a synthetic amino acid compound and perhaps the most well-known and often- used intravenous chelating agent. Oral EDTA is poorly absorbed, but it is thought to support detoxification of metals largely in the gastrointestinal tract.[9,10] More studies are needed to validate oral administration. It is believed that there is a benefit in combining EDTA with other chelators because EDTA acts slowly and could potentially lead to redeposition of metals. Due to EDTA’s metal-binding ability, it is important to replace beneficial minerals, such as zinc, copper, iron, cobalt, and manganese. Coriander Seed Extract (water-extracted) (Coriandrum sativum), also known as cilantro, appears to suppress the deposition of lead and arsenic by chelating these metals. In a study, lead-induced histological changes in the testis of albino mice were prevented to some extent by concomitant daily administration of C sativum extracts, perhaps due to a reduction in associated oxidative stress. In an another study, tissue-specific amelioration of lead-induced oxidative stress occurred in the brains of Wistar rats after administration of hydroalcoholic seed extract of C sativum. Allicin is the main biologically active component of garlic clove extracts and has promising effects on toxic metal accumulation in experimental research. In animal and in vitro models, garlic was able to reduce cellular exposure to, or accumulation of, lead, cadmium, and mercury. Furthermore, various extracts and forms of garlic have demonstrated garlic’s ability to positively affect detoxification pathways. Chlorella is a naturally occurring micro-algae and an excellent source of chlorophyll—a detoxifying substance that is also thought to bind toxic metals. The positive effect of chlorella supplementation on toxic metals, including methylmercury, cadmium, and lead, is supported by animal research. For example, testing its metal chelating ability, researchers observed a dramatic 66.03% reduction in blood lead levels in mice receiving chlorella extract (50 mg/kg/day) concurrent with lead exposure compared to lead-exposed, non-treated mice. N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) and Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA) are well-known for their antioxidant activity. Exposure to heavy metals increases free radical production and oxidative stress. Research suggests that there is a beneficial role for free radical scavengers in reducing the oxidative stress that is common with toxic metal exposure. NAC has the ability to interact with reactive oxygen species (ROS) and stimulate the body to produce glutathione. This can enhance cell survival after exposure to heavy metals or toxins. In addition, ALA may directly chelate or reduce the oxidative capacity of metals, such as copper, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury.   Directions 2 to 4 capsules daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. It features a unique combination of clinically tested and patented ingredients, including Relora®, Sensoril®, and Suntheanine®, along with banaba leaf and maral extracts. Together, these herbs help the overstressed body and mind work toward their normal state of balance and resolve many of the biochemical changes that occur as a result of repeated, frequent exposure to stressors and cortisol. Relora® is a patented and proprietary blend of Magnolia officinalis and Phellodendron amurense bark extracts standardized to honokiol and berberine, respectively. These herbs have a history of traditional use in treating stress and occasional feelings of anxiousness. In modern times, they and their actives (honokiol and berberine) are used to support relaxation and reduce the perception of stress and stress-related eating. Rodent stress studies demonstrate a reduction in induced feelings of anxiousness. Human studies demonstrate positive changes in DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) and cortisol levels, less weight gain (compared to controls), and reductions in perceived stress and transitory feelings of anxiousness in subjects taking Relora (500 mg to 750 mg for four to six weeks). Sensoril® is an optimized ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) root and leaf extract that represents a major advancement in ashwagandha preparations. Sensoril’s proprietary and patented extraction process produces very high, powerful levels of stress-fighting, cognition- enhancing ashwagandha bioactive constituents. In fact, Sensoril is standardized to a minimum of 10% glycowithanolides. Sensoril’s excellent safety record is one of the most comprehensive of any ashwagandha ingredient sold. Ashwagandha has been revered as an adaptogen for thousands of years. It is used to balance, energize, and revitalize the body and for its value as a cognition enhancer. Sensoril possesses multiple health benefits, and its superior efficacy has been demonstrated in randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled human clinical trials. Suntheanine® is a pure form of L-theanine that is produced via a patented fermentation process, resulting in a 100% pure L-isomertheanine. Clinical research suggests that 50 to 200 mg/d of Suntheanine naturally stimulates activity in the brain known as alpha waves, which are associated with a relaxed but alert mental state. L-theanine had significant anti-stress effects on experimental animals under psychosocial stress. In humans, similar results were observed wherein L-theanine helped the body resist biochemical changes associated with stress. Banaba Leaf (1% Corosolic Acid) and Maral Extracts Banaba leaf (Lagerstroemia speciosa) has a long history of use in folk medicine, particularly in Southeast Asia, as a glucose modulator. More recently, animal and human research on banaba leaf and its actives, including corosolic acid, suggest multiple mechanisms that influence glucose and lipid metabolism. Furthermore, corosolic acid inhibits the enzyme that facilitates the conversion of cortisone to cortisol. Maral extract (Rhaponticum carthamoides) has been widely used in traditional Siberian medicine, mainly to treat overstrain and common weakness resulting from illness. It has also been used historically as a stimulant and a remedy to support male sexual function. Directions:  Take 1 capsule twice daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Why would I take it? Adapto Clear is for those wanting to help balance their hormones. We can all experience minor hormonal fluctuations that accompany life and stress. Adaptogens are specific herbs that can help bring balance to hyper OR hypo functioning glands. So, Adapto Clear can benefit those with mild/minor symptoms of: Hypo thyroid  Hypo pituitary Hypo adrenal Hyper thyroid Hyper pituitary Hyper adrenal Times of increased STRESS Mood/symptoms associated with menstrual cycles Conners Clinic Originals Adapto Clear includes a blend of key micronutrients and adaptogenic botanicals specifically formulated to strengthen the body’s stress response and support healthy energy levels.  Holy Basil† Holy basil (Ocimum sanctum) is an adaptogenic herb that enhances the body’s stress and immune response. A comprehensive review of 24 human studies has revealed positive therapeutic effects of holy basil on neurocognition, immunity and metabolism.1 Thirty-five subjects were dosed with Ocimum sanctum and it was found to have a statistically significant promise to help support low mood and attention.2 Ashwagandha Root Extract† Ashwagandha’s strong adaptogenic properties provide an array of benefits for individuals that have compromised health due to extreme stress exposure. Ashwagandha’s benefits include improving stress resilience, supporting immune response, regulating the sleep cycle, supporting healthy thyroid function and protecting against exhaustion of the nervous system.3,4 Ashwagandha has also been shown to be beneficial in supporting proper mood regulation and restoring a sense of calmness under stress.4 Rhodiola rosea Root Extract† Rhodiola rosea has been categorized as an adaptogenic botanical due to its ability to increase resistance to a variety of stressors.5 Rhodiola has been studied extensively and is widely used in Eastern Europe and Asia to help support the nervous system, mood regulation, mental clarity, work performance and the sleep cycle.5 Within the central nervous system, Rhodiola has demonstrated an ability to preserve levels of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine. In a randomized, double-blind, placebo- controlled study examining the effects of Rhodiola on fatigue and stress, 161 patients aged 19 to 21 years received Rhodiola twice daily resulting in a significant reduction in fatigue.6 An additional study using Rhodiola extract in students showed significant improvements in mental performance, greater mood stability and improved sleep patterns.7 Schisandra Berry Extract† Schisandra berry extract is an adaptogenic botanical that has been used for centuries in China and Russia to help support mental clarity, stress response and emotional wellness. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, athletes who were given an adaptogenic blend including Schisandra chinensis extract or placebo, had increased concentrations of nitric oxide, a molecule which causes the blood vessels to expand resulting in increased circulation, increased blood flow and nutrients throughout the body and healthy blood pressure.8 The researchers concluded that schisandra berry enhances physical performance in athletes.8 Schisandra berry has also been shown to support learning and memory and may have a protective effect on brain health.9 Licorice Root Extract† The primary components in licorice root that support adrenal health include glycyrrhetic acid and glycyrrhizin. Licorice has also been shown to block 11-β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase, the enzyme responsible for the conversion of cortisol to the inactive cortisone.10 When taken in small doses, licorice root extract can be used to maintain cortisol levels, an important factor for individuals that need to support production and maintain healthy inflammatory pathways. Adrenal Concentrate† For thousands of years, glandular concentrates have been used in medicine to supply key nutrients to support the body. The concept of glandular therapy states that similar organ extracts from animals will support the same organ within humans by stimulating its activity. Adrenal bovine concentrate allows for rejuvenation of the adrenal stress system in a balanced and efficient manner. Clear Zinc - 60 caps Conners Clinic Supplement - Conners Clinic Clear Zinc - 60 caps Conners Clinic Supplement - Conners Clinic
Conners Clinic Clear Zinc - 60 caps $19.50
CLINICAL APPLICATIONS Provides Highly Absorbed Zinc for a Variety of Protocols High-Concentration Zinc to Boost Immune Function OVERVIEW Zinc is an essential trace mineral important to many functions of human health. It plays a role in maintaining cellular metabolism and gene expression. Zinc is critical to a diverse group of physiological processes, such as immune function, insulin signaling, tissue repair, vision and neuro-transmission. It is second only to iron in worldwide incidence of deficiency, impacting 2 billion people in developing nations. Due to the wide range of functions regulated by zinc, deficiency, or even marginal deficiency, can have serious health implications. Zinc is fundamental to the activity of over 100 enzymes and supports immune function, protein synthesis, tissue growth, DNA synthesis and cell division. During pregnancy, infancy and childhood, the body needs zinc for proper growth and development. Zinc also helps tissue repair and is important for adequate functioning of the senses of taste and smell. Daily intake of zinc is necessary to maintain adequate levels within the body because the body has no specialized zinc storage system. Clear Zinc provides 54 mg of highly-absorbed zinc, ideally formulated using the amino acid chelate form of zinc (zinc glycinate) for enhanced absorption, optimal utilization and gastrointestinal comfort. Supplementing the right form of zinc is key to maintaining healthy levels within the body and compliance to a supplement regimen. Zinc plays a crucial role in boosting immune function, maintaining healthy tissue growth, and increasing the antioxidant reserves that protect the body from free radical damage. Suggested Use: 1 or more capsules per day or as recommended by your health care professional INGREDIENT BENEFITS Zinc Bioavailability The importance of bioavailability is obvious. If consuming a zinc supplement has little effect on improving the body’s zinc balance, there is no reason to ingest it. Signs of inferior mineral supplements include the use of cheap, poorly absorbed, rock-salt minerals. Reacted Zinc is formulated with the superior amino acid chelate form, zinc glycinate, which does not ionize in the gut and therefore is not impacted by dietary factors and is absorbed at a higher rate than those formulated with zinc salt forms. Comparison studies have shown significantly superior absorption of mineral chelates compared to other mineral forms. Chelated zinc is 230% better absorbed than zinc sulfate Chelated zinc is 390% better absorbed than zinc oxide Chelated Zinc offers greater protection from interfering dietary factors Zinc Zinc plays a crucial role in boosting immune function, maintaining healthy tissue growth, and increasing the antioxidant reserves that protect the body from free radical damage. Low zinc status has been associated with increased risk of immune challenges, skin weakness, and increased age-related visual decline.
