Conners Clinic Apop-E 300 - Powerful Vitamin E - 30 Count $44.99
Conners Originals Apop-E 300 is a unique tocopherol-free, tocotrienols-only product, featuring tocotrienols sourced from the annatto tree. Annatto is the richest known source of tocotrienols, containing 100% tocotrienols (90% delta and 10% gamma isomers), with no tocopherols.Commercial vitamin E supplements are typically rich in tocopherols and low or absent in tocotrienols; however, tocotrienol fractions have unique beneficial effects across a variety of tissues that make them desirable for supporting many aspects of health. Research indicates that tocopherols—especially alpha-tocopherol—may interfere with key therapeutic effects of tocotrienols, so it may be best to dose tocotrienols alone, without tocopherols. Vitamin E is not a single nutrient, but rather a complex consisting of 4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols. Each of these components has a different molecular weight and slightly different chemical structure, which impart distinct properties that influence their biochemical functions. Apop-E 300 features DeltaGold®, a patented annatto tocotrienol formula produced in the US by American River Manufacturing. Ingredients: Vitamin E Isomers Made with non-GMO ingredients. Conners Clinic Clear CV - 120 Capsules - IMPROVED FORMULATION $39.00 $44.00
Special - save $5 per bottle! NEW, IMPROVED FORMULA (same low price) - now with Vitamin A - a HUGE synergist in the immune system's fight against invaders!!!! Clear CV is a balanced blend of flavonoids and crucial vitamins and minerals that provide safe, long-term immune support for all populations without overstimulating the immune system. Clear CV is a targeted blend of nutrients designed to provide a broad-spectrum support to the body’s immune reserves. The formula includes quercetin, a powerful bioflavonoid that aids in supporting the immune system. Vitamin C and N-acetyl cysteine are potent antioxidants that promote respiratory function and support the function of quercetin. Vitamin D and zinc are important micronutrients needed to create a robust immune reserve. This powerful combination works to promote healthy respiratory and immune function. Vitamin D3 It has been shown that low vitamin D levels have immunologic implications with a significant decrease in immune function, affecting respiratory health.11,12,17 This is most likely because the vitamin D receptor is expressed by several immune cells including monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, B and T cells.18 Supplementation with vitamin D has been shown to modulate NK cell activity to promote a healthy innate immune response.15,19 Along with these immune-supporting benefits, vitamin D has also been shown to support the respiratory system and epithelial tight junction integrity.15,19,20,21 Zinc Zinc is essential for maintaining immune system integrity and healthy immune development.12,13,14 Supplementation with zinc supports key immune functions such as natural killer cell activity and phagocytosis by macrophages and neutrophils.15 Furthermore, studies show that zinc can directly support the body during immune system challenges and can help support healthy respiratory function.15,16 Vitamin C Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that has been studied for many years for its immune-supporting effects. Through its antioxidant functions, vitamin C has been shown to protect important immune cells from oxidative damage.5 Data shows vitamin C is heavily concentrated in macrophages, supports lymphocyte activity, modulates cytokine release, improves endothelial function, restores mitochondrial function, and can directly support a challenged immune system.3 Of particular interest, vitamin C has been shown to recycle oxidized quercetin back to its parent compound, which supports a robust immune response while increasing the efficacy of quercetin.3,6 Quercetin Quercetin is best known for its antioxidant activity in scavenging free radicals. Additionally, quercetin helps balance the level of cytokines and improve T-lymphocyte balance. Several mechanism studies highlight quercetin’s ability to provide immune system support while also stimulating the ciliary beat frequency of the nasal epithelium, aiding the excretion of respiratory mucus.1,2,3 Quercetin has been shown to block the mechanisms by which microbes enter the host cells and replicate within the body.3 Additionally, a human clinical trial found quercetin supplementation supported healthy respiratory function following a stressor (i.e., intense bout of exercise), compared to placebo.4 N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) NAC is the precursor of the master antioxidant, glutathione. NAC has been shown to support mucus clearance and normal respiratory function, through its ability to cleave disulfide bonds in mucus.7,8 NAC is found to raise glutathione levels, which is important to protect the biologic activity and safe metabolism of quercetin.3,9 Along with protecting the activity of quercetin, NAC supports all detoxification pathways and helps maintain immune balance by supporting glutathione levels.10,11 Vitamin A Vitamin A stimulates the production and activity of white blood cells (antiviral and anti-tumor cells); Maintains and strengthens epithelial tissues and mucous membranes — the body's first line of defense against pathogens. We NOW added Vitamin A to our Clear CV NOTE: All of the above statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Conners Clinic Berber Clear - 60 Caps $50.49
Conners Clinic Berber Clear supplies berberine combined with alpha lipoic acid to help support optimal blood sugar and insulin metabolism, cardiovascular health, and liver health. Berberine is an alkaloid compound found in the roots, rhizomes, stems, and bark of several plants commonly used in botanical and Chinese medicine, such as goldenseal, Oregon grape, barberry, and Berberis aristata. Lipoic acid is best known for its antioxidant properties and its ability to support healthy insulin metabolism and sensitivity. It is also a key cofactor for mitochondrial enzymes involved in cellular metabolism and energy (ATP) production. Ingredients: Berberine hydrochloride (from Berberis aristata) (root) Alpha Lipoic Acid Berberine Berberine is a compound found in the roots, rhizomes, stems and bark of several plants commonly used in botanical and Chinese medicine, such as goldenseal, Oregon grape, barberry, and Berberis aristata (from which its name is derived). It has become increasingly popular as people seek natural compounds that may aid in maintaining healthy blood glucose and insulin levels, without some of the adverse side-effects of pharmaceutical medications commonly used for this purpose. Berberine helps promote healthy blood glucose levels and sensitivity to insulin through multiple mechanisms.* One way berberine may aid in healthy glucose regulation is by limiting the activity of enzymes that digest carbohydrates in the small intestine, thus resulting in less glucose being absorbed into the bloodstream after meals. Alpha Lipoic Acid Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is best known as an antioxidant. ALA is both water- and fat-soluble, meaning it exerts its antioxidant effects in different types of tissues and different compartments in the body. In addition to its antioxidant effects, ALA supports healthy insulin secretion and sensitivity, in part by facilitating the way cells take up glucose from the blood. ALA is also a key cofactor for enzymes inside the cells’ mitochondria, which is where fats, carbohydrates, and proteins are converted into energy. Thus, ALA helps support a healthy metabolism. Does Not Contain: Gluten, animal or dairy products, ingredients derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Warning: If you are on insulin treatment or taking hypoglycemic medications, consult with your healthcare practitioner before using this product. *NOTE: All of the above statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Conners Clinic Clear SBI Pro - 5.3 oz Powder $123.90
SBI Protect is the only purified, dairy-free source of immunoglobulin G (IgG) available as a dietary supplement. Pure IgG helps to maintain a healthy intestinal immune system by binding a broad ranges of microbes and toxins within the gut lumen. Clear SBI Protect provides concentrated immunoglobulins to enhance mucosal immunity, help maintain microbial balance, support GI barrier health and integrity and also helps maintain normal inflammatory balance. Ingredients Serum-Derived Bovine (Immunoglobulin Concentrate) Immunoglobulin G (IgG) Does Not Contain Gluten, corn, yeast, artificial colors or flavors. Potential Benefits/Discussion The discovery that the gut barrier plays a key role in immune health fueled the search to strengthen it. In that search, researchers found that the binding capabilities of immunoglobulins have a positive effect on gut barrier function. Immunoglobulins bind microbes and toxins in the GI tract and eliminate them prior to immune system activation. As these unwanted triggers are removed, it resets healthy immune tolerance and builds a stronger barrier to the external environment. SBI and GI Health - SBI has been shown to bind microbes and toxins, further enhancing microbiome balance and facilitating gut barrier strength. Broad-spectrum binding capabilities demonstrate the positive influence of non-allergenic forms of immunoglobulins. As seen in several studies, SBI has the potential to bind many types of microbes and toxins. This binding and elimination decreases microbe and toxin encounters by the immune system and resets immune tolerance. SBI and Immune Health - In studies evaluating the effect of SBI on immune function, subjects showed positive outcomes in several areas, including inflammatory balance, gut barrier function and immune cell counts. In an open-label human clinical study, GI-challenged patients were given 2.5 mg SBI twice daily. They had increased CD4+ counts in the duodenum after eight weeks, indicating a regenerative effect on the tissue and immune function in the intestines. Conners Clinic Hista Clear - DAO Enzyme $64.00 $84.00
Conners Clinic Originals Hista Clear is a patented enzyme formula containing diamine oxidase (DAO) - the main enzyme responsible for the degradation of ingested histamine. This enzyme has been clinically tested and found to break down food-derived histamine in the digestive tract. Our bodies are complex, and there is usually more at play than we think. What most don’t take into consideration when addressing histamine-related health issues is genetics. Whether you’re on a low histamine diet due to histamine intolerance, or simply trying to reduce high histamine foods for general health, you will benefit from understanding how your genes are related. Learn more about histamine and genetics here! Our body has two distinct methods of clearing things that could bring it harm: our immune system kills living toxins (bacteria, virus, parasites…) and our detoxification pathways clear non-living toxins (chemicals, heavy metals, drugs…). We have one other system that sits somewhere in the middle between the immune and the detoxification systems that helps with both: the mast cells. Read more about Histamine’s Double-edge Sword in the Formation and Progression of Cancer. Ingredients: Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) Diamine Oxidase (DAO) Does Not Contain: Wheat, gluten, yeast, soy, dairy products, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, artificial colors, artificial sweeteners, or artificial preservatives. Potential Benefits: addresses excess exogenous histamine found in the folds, villi, and microvilli of the small intestine Discussion: Histamine is a bioactive or “vasoactive” amine produced in the body in response to an injury or foreign substance. It has an array of physiological effects, including increasing blood supply to specific sites in the body. In addition, histamine is involved in the immune response, regulation of gastric acid, permeability of blood vessels, contraction of muscles, and the normal response to inflammation. The highest concentrations of histamine in the body are found in the gastrointestinal tract, lungs, and skin, with lesser amounts in the brain and heart.* Histamine is not only produced in the body but is also present in many fermented foods, such as sauerkraut, sausage, cheese, yogurt, and alcoholic beverages. Tuna, olives, spinach, eggplant, avocados, tomatoes, cherries, and citrus fruits are other histamine-containing foods. Despite their absence of histamine, some foods, such as berries, tea, and a variety of spices, stimulate the endogenous production of the amine due to their benzoate content. In addition, microbial fermentation can convert the histidine in high-protein foods to histamine so that the histamine content of food can increase over time.* Endogenous and exogenous histamine must be broken down in order to maintain homeostasis and histamine balance. The enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO) degrades histamine by converting it from 2-(4-imidazolyl)- ethylamine to the inactive metabolite imidazole acetaldehyde. The active ingredient in HistaClear is porcine-derived diamine oxidase, and research suggests that DAO derived from porcine kidney appears to have identical action to DAO derived from porcine intestine. In humans and other mammals, DAO is found in high concentrations in the gastrointestinal mucosa. Animal studies suggest that circulating DAO may be a marker for mucosal integrity and maturity. Certain drugs may affect histamine balance in the body by promoting histamine release or inhibiting DAO.* Histamine tolerance may not be the same for everyone. Results of a double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study suggest that tolerance to histamine can vary from individual to individual. Total body histamine load must be considered when evaluating histamine tolerance, and a balance between histamine and DAO appears to be crucial to maintaining skin, rhinoconjunctival, and gastrointestinal health.[2,6] Genetic and environmental factors may interact to influence DAO expression. Ongoing research addresses the role that genetic variations may play in individual differences in DAO metabolism, and serum activity was significantly associated with seven single nucleotide variations within the DAO gene.[7,8] Histamine tolerance may be reflected in detailed questionnaires, food intake logs, trial with low-histamine diet, and measurement of DAO and histamine.*[9,10] Histamine tolerance and its manifestation may vary from organ to organ as well. A study of 39 patients suggested that intake of DAO produced a statistically significant reduction in symptoms associated with exogenous histamine ingestion, although single symptoms were not found to be reproducible.* Ultimately, diminished serum DAO levels appear to be associated with changes in histamine degradation and serum histamine levels. Although the mechanism of histamine degradation is uniform throughout the body, HistaClear only addresses excess exogenous histamine found in the folds, villi, and microvilli of the small intestine. HistaClear is not absorbed and therefore does not have systemic activity. A two-capsule dose of HistaClear contains 20 mg of vitamin C and 20,000 HDU (histamine degrading units) from diamine oxidase. Conners Clinic Originals Clear Hist Jr. is a great-tasting, chewable tablet that includes a targeted blend of flavonoids, antioxidants, proteolytic enzymes and botanicals designed to provide comprehensive support for children with seasonal challenges caused by common environmental allergens. Clear Hist Jr. includes quercetin, a powerful flavonoid to support healthy histamine levels. It supplies bromelain to enhance the absorption of quercetin and to support mucosal tissue health and stinging nettles leaf to balance hyper-immune response. N-acetyl cysteine clears the airways by promoting normal viscosity of mucus. This unique nutritional combination safely promotes healthy nasal and sinus passages for children with elevated histamine and respiratory irritation. Ingredients Vitamin C Quercetin Dihydrate Stinging Nettle Bromelain N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine Does Not Contain: Gluten, yeast, artificial colors or flavors. Potential Benefits supports immune balance in hypersensitive individuals supports sinus and respiratory health promotes normal viscosity of mucus clears nasal passages Discussion Quercetin is a biologically active flavonoid antioxidant that is widely distributed in plants, oak trees, onions and tea leaves. Quercetin has strong antioxidant activity and has also been shown to support immune health by mediating the release of inflammatory compounds, including leukotrienes and prostaglandins. Quercetin is known for its ability to stabilize mast cells, which diminishes the release of histamine, the compound known to cause hypersensitivity reactions during seasonal changes. Stinging Nettles Leaf - Urtica dioica, commonly known as stinging nettles, is a plant that has been shown to balance immune response, specifically in the airways and nasal passages. Studies have shown that the extract of stinging nettles leaf balances several of inflammatory activities that affect respiratory health. In addition to controlling mast-cell degranulation, stinging nettles leaf controls prostaglandin formation and histamine action, thus contributing to a balanced inflammatory response. Bromelain is a plant enzyme naturally found on the stem and fruit of the pineapple plant. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme that aids in in the breakdown of large protein complexes, including antigenic compounds. Bromelain has been shown to enhance the absorption of quercetin and to reduce circulating allergenic protein complexes associated with hyper-immune sensitivity and seasonal discomfort. N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is an amino acid precursor to one of the most important antioxidants in the body: glutathione. Both glutathione and NAC help reduce the viscosity of the mucus allowing for clearing of the airways and improved respiratory health. Vitamin C - Because vitamin C cannot be synthesized by the human body, it is an essential nutrient that must be consumed in the diet. Among its numerous health-promoting properties, vitamin C supports the immune system and is also a potent antioxidant. When the body is under a significant amount of stress, vitamin C is excreted rapidly. Vitamin C has many immune boosting properties, but is distinctively beneficial for individuals with seasonal discomfort because of its ability to deactivate histamine. Directions 1 tablet as needed or as recommended by your health care professional.

Potential Benefits chelates chemicals/toxins out of tissues supports healthy liver function rids the body of damaging oxidative elements powerful antioxidant reduces cellular exposure to, or accumulation of, lead, cadmium, and mercury enhances cell survival after exposure to heavy metals or toxins Free Download - The 7 Phases of Detox Discussion Himalayan Shilajit Extract (Asphaltum punjabinum) is a purified form of shilajit also known as salajit, shilajatu, mimie, or mummiyo. This naturally occurring phytocomplex is found in high mountain rocks, especially those of the Himalayas and Hindu Kush ranges of the Indian subcontinent. Modern research suggests that shilajit has powerful antioxidant activity. As an example, in an animal model, processed shilajit increased superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione peroxidase (GPx) activities in a dose- dependent manner. Furthermore, humic substances, as found in shilajit, have been shown to affect the distribution, metabolism, and absorption of heavy metals, such as cadmium and lead. EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is a synthetic amino acid compound and perhaps the most well-known and often- used intravenous chelating agent. Oral EDTA is poorly absorbed, but it is thought to support detoxification of metals largely in the gastrointestinal tract.[9,10] More studies are needed to validate oral administration. It is believed that there is a benefit in combining EDTA with other chelators because EDTA acts slowly and could potentially lead to redeposition of metals. Due to EDTA’s metal-binding ability, it is important to replace beneficial minerals, such as zinc, copper, iron, cobalt, and manganese. Coriander Seed Extract (water-extracted) (Coriandrum sativum), also known as cilantro, appears to suppress the deposition of lead and arsenic by chelating these metals. In a study, lead-induced histological changes in the testis of albino mice were prevented to some extent by concomitant daily administration of C sativum extracts, perhaps due to a reduction in associated oxidative stress. In an another study, tissue-specific amelioration of lead-induced oxidative stress occurred in the brains of Wistar rats after administration of hydroalcoholic seed extract of C sativum. Allicin is the main biologically active component of garlic clove extracts and has promising effects on toxic metal accumulation in experimental research. In animal and in vitro models, garlic was able to reduce cellular exposure to, or accumulation of, lead, cadmium, and mercury. Furthermore, various extracts and forms of garlic have demonstrated garlic’s ability to positively affect detoxification pathways. Chlorella is a naturally occurring micro-algae and an excellent source of chlorophyll—a detoxifying substance that is also thought to bind toxic metals. The positive effect of chlorella supplementation on toxic metals, including methylmercury, cadmium, and lead, is supported by animal research. For example, testing its metal chelating ability, researchers observed a dramatic 66.03% reduction in blood lead levels in mice receiving chlorella extract (50 mg/kg/day) concurrent with lead exposure compared to lead-exposed, non-treated mice. N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) and Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA) are well-known for their antioxidant activity. Exposure to heavy metals increases free radical production and oxidative stress. Research suggests that there is a beneficial role for free radical scavengers in reducing the oxidative stress that is common with toxic metal exposure. NAC has the ability to interact with reactive oxygen species (ROS) and stimulate the body to produce glutathione. This can enhance cell survival after exposure to heavy metals or toxins. In addition, ALA may directly chelate or reduce the oxidative capacity of metals, such as copper, arsenic, cadmium, and mercury. Typically, bodily injury and antigen exposure promotes the release of histamine. A white blood cell variation known as a basophil and similarly constructed mast cells, found in connective tissue, are the main producers of histamine. Despite various origins and locations, histamine compounds found outside of the CNS contribute to a universal goal: initiating an inflammatory response. Histamine, as a result of corresponding neural receptors, has the potential for profound effects on the hypothalamus and other neurotransmitters: specifically effecting appetite and sleep patterns. Therefore, increased histamine can disrupt usual compound levels in the CNS. Secreted histamine also promotes vasodilation, blood plasma release from adjacent blood vessels, and stimulates gastric acid production. Vasodilation allows for greater capillary permeability; therefore, white blood cells are capable of contacting pathogens found in interstitial fluid, also potentially effecting intestinal permeability. Excessive histamine can be correlated to genetic mutations, leaky gut, allergies, and an individual’s diet. Studies have suggested gliadin, a protein found in wheat, to be involved with mast cell function and secretion of histamine; similarly, gliadin also stimulates the release of Zonulin. Under further observation, Zonulin has been found, during an ex vivo study, to increase intestinal permeability, serving as another contributor to a leaky gut. Genetic mutations found in the ABP1 and HNMT genes are potential indicators for elevated histamine. Furthermore, increased histamine levels can result in heart palpitations, low blood pressure, hypertension, fatigue, anxiety, joint pain, irritable bowel syndrome, stomach ulcers, adrenal gland fatigue, and altered sleep patterns.
