Adrenal fatigue is considered one of the most prevalent debilitating conditions of the past fifty years, affecting millions each year. Despite its commonality, it often goes undiagnosed. The adrenal glands play an essential role in many bodily functions, including stress adaptation and regulation. Specific nutrients, known to provide valuable support for the adrenals, can offer complementary and restorative features to overstressed adrenals. For example, pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) plays an important role in energy production, and a deficiency has been correlated to disruptions in, or abnormal, neurotransmitter production, resulting in difficulty in dealing with stressful situations. Pantothenic acid is essential in the formation of coenzyme A (CoA), as the initial step in the synthesis of CoA is phosphorlyation of pantothenate. CoA is required in the synthesis of the neurotransmitter, acetycholine, a chemical required for nerve transmission. Accordingly, pantothenic acid is sometimes referred to as the “antistress” vitamin.
ADB5-PlusTM offers a comprehensive choice for adrenal support, incorporating a diverse array of vitamins, minerals, botanicals and glandular components to provide restorative attributes to overstressed adrenals. In addition to pantothenic acid, ADB5-PlusTM provides key components known to support adrenal function, including vitamin C, the B-complex vitamins thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folic acid, along with NAC, adrenal glandular concentrate, Rhodiola rosea and mushroom derived Tyrosinase. As always, Biotics Research brings you “The Best of Science and Nature”.
I was diagnosed with low adrenals several years ago through a saliva test. My system is also very sensitive so I had a hard time taking any adrenal supplement (I would either start shaking, or fall asleep).
You have to be tested to find out what type product to buy. For cortisol that spikes at night (insomnia) you something with *Aswaghanda or *Holy Basil.
For me, my cortisol was non existent at night so the above* didn't help at all.
This one gradually helped, a lot! I ramped up to 6 a day. Now, I'm finally down to 1 a day. I do still seem to need them.
Conner's has the best price and service. Thank you 😊
