Genova Diagnostics

The GI Effects®Comprehensive Stool Profile from Genova Labs is one of my favorites. It gives us a broad assessment of the gastrointestinal tract that offers valuable insight into digestive function, intestinal inflammation, and the intestinal microbiome. Genova put out a great explainer video (below) that explains both the basics and the subtle nuances when reviewing test results and making therapeutic decisions. I like it because it the printout is easy for patients to understand and it confirms what we usually suspect in those with health issues - it really begins in the GUT.
